What people forget to ask about

The base

A conservatory has to stand on something load-bearing. We look at the base and foundation before we talk about glass.

The junction to the house

This is where leaks start. The roof pitch can be set from 5 to 45 degrees so the structure follows the house’s own roof.

How much sun it gets

A south-facing glass roof gets hot. We talk about shading and glazing before you end up with a greenhouse.

Whether it should close up

The pergola sides can close with ZIP screen or glass, and the conservatory can have sliding units – so the room works in July and in February.

One more room – without moving a single wall.
